Second PRMS Partners in the Community Grant Winners

Advancing Mental Health Support and Advocacy
To further Professional Risk Management Services’ (PRMS) enduring dedication to supporting mental health and the organizations aligned with this cause, we proudly continued our PRMS Partners in the Community Grant (PPCG). We invited our partners to nominate local non-profits that enhance mental healthcare in their communities for a chance to receive grant funding allowing our partners to develop programming, create member volunteer opportunities, and strengthen existing collaborative efforts.
Winners were announced on May 18th during the PRMS and Southern Psychiatric Association annual reception held in Los Angeles. The PPCG grand prize winner of $4,000, nominated by the Psychiatric Society of Westchester County, was My Sisters’ Place. They provide a safe environment for women with a history of trauma from domestic violence or human trafficking in Westchester County, NY. My Sisters’ Place will use the grant funding to provide mental health education to program residents.
Two well-deserving runners up were also recognized and awarded a $2,500 prize each – Voces Latinas and Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. We are honored to highlight below each of the three winner’s missions, ranging from supporting women to helping children and youth.
