Life of PRMS: Daetara Davis, Underwriter

As an underwriter at PRMS, my responsibilities include properly insuring our psychiatrists, managing our client’s accounts, guiding each client in the right direction, and addressing any coverage questions or concerns that may arise. I have worked at PRMS for just over a year and have been in the insurance industry going on eight years, which has provided me with a wide range of experience varying from financial to personal lines management.

Before I interviewed for my current position, I could tell from my research that PRMS appeared to be a business focused on caring for its clients on a holistic basis. While going through the interview process, I enjoyed seeing the diversity within the company along with how the culture is portrayed.

One of my favorite parts about PRMS is working with my colleagues - caring individuals who look out for the interest of our clients - and having the opportunity to speak to doctors on a regular basis to figure out their needs and find tailored solutions to help each client. PRMS has become a wonderful place to continue my career, and I look forward to continuing to support the needs of our clients to provide the best care to their patients.
