Join PRMS for Psych-cess: Forensic Psychiatry on November 4
After the COVID-19 pandemic altered the shape of events and educational experiences changed to virtual events in 2020, PRMS decided to launch its first virtual event series, Psych-cess, led by experts in the field and geared specifically towards residents, fellows, and early career psychiatrists. Each webinar in the series is designed to provide attendees with insight, mentorship, and tips for success in their own careers.
We are pleased to announce the next event in the virtual series, Psych-cess: Forensic Psychiatry, on Thursday, November 4th, 6:30 – 7:30 pm ET. If you are interested in the field of forensic psychiatry, join PRMS for a presentation and live question-and-answer session on the topic. You will hear from forensic psychiatry specialist, Liza Gold, MD, as she leads a discussion sharing more about the specialty, how she chose to make it her career, and how she reached her current roles, which include:
- Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Georgetown University School of Medicine
- Member of the District of Columbia Superior Court Mental Health Commission
- President of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (2020-2021)
- Member of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Sexual Harassment in the Scientific and Technical Workforce (2017-2018)
We also invite participants to submit their questions ahead of time or during Psych-cess to be answered live by Dr. Gold at the end of the virtual event! To submit questions before November 4th, please email marketing-prms@prms.com.
