EXITING MILITARY PSYCHIATRISTS: SAVE ON COVERAGE
Following retirement or discharge from the military, psychiatrists may be eligible to receive discounts on PRMS’ medical professional liability insurance coverage up to the first five years of practice. Our comprehensive program also includes expert risk management resources and service by our experienced claims team that has handled more than 31,000 psychiatric claims.
To further support the efforts to ensure mental health for servicemen and women, our risk management team has produced "Military Suicide Prevention Resources." This booklet is a compilation of articles and materials from various sources, including one of our own risk management tips, "Practical Pointers for Managing Risk When Treating Patients with Suicidal Behaviors."
