Tonya Davies, CPCU, ARe

Chief Operating Officer

  

Tonya Davies joined PRMS as Chief Operating Officer in 2019.  She is responsible for instituting strategic initiatives, establishing financial and nonfinancial targets, and managing business operations for PRMS.  Ms. Davies has a breadth of experience in medical professional liability underwriting from the insurance and reinsurance perspectives.  Prior to PRMS, she worked at TransRe as a Senior Vice President, where she was responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of companies specializing in medical professional liability.  Ms. Davies began her career in insurance, underwriting various healthcare classes on a primary basis at AIG and Zurich.   

Ms. Davies attended the University of Georgia where she earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in risk management and insurance.  She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations. 

Donna Vanderpool, MBA, JD

Director of Risk Management

  

Donna Vanderpool is responsible for the development and implementation of risk management services for PRMS. Vanderpool has developed expertise in the areas of telepsychiatry, HIPAA, and forensic practice, and has consulted, written and spoken nationally on these and other healthcare law and risk management topics. She most recently contributed a chapter in Malpractice and Liability in Psychiatry (Springer), and has contributed to the Textbook of Suicide Risk Assessment and Management, 3rd ed. (APPI), the Textbook of Forensic Psychiatry, 3rd ed. (APPI), Gun Violence and Mental Health (APPI), Mental Health Practice in a Digital World (Springer) and Psychoanalysis Online 2 (Karnac), and other clinical textbooks. Prior to joining PRMS in 2000, Vanderpool practiced criminal defense law, taught business and legal courses, and managed a surgery practice.

Vanderpool received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from James Madison University. She also earned a Master of Business Administration degree and Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University.

Kathy Miller

Director of Underwriting

  

With more than 25 years of experience as an underwriter, Kathy Miller joined the PRMS team after working more than 4.5 years as AVP, Director of Programs at Fair American Insurance Company (FAIRCO), a subsidiary of Transatlantic Reinsurance Company. She previously held positions at Zurich, AIG, MCM Insurance, and Frontier Healthcare. 

Megan Jones, MBA, ARM, AIS

Director of Operations

  

Megan Jones joined PRMS in 1997 and is currently responsible for implementing operational, technological and product recommendations for the PRMS. She applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated solutions, and implement new sales, customer service and retention initiatives.

Prior to joining PRMS, Ms. Jones worked with State Farm Insurance Company. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/Marketing from Elon University and her Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Jones holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and an Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designation and is a licensed property and casualty agent. She serves on the board of Phoenix Bikes, a non-profit focused on educating youth through bicycle mechanics, and is a County Manager appointed member of the Arlington County Bicycle Advisory Committee.

Danielle Bolger

Director of Marketing

  

Danielle Bolger is the Director of Marketing for PRMS.  In this role, she leads the company’s marketing, events, and partner and client relations projects and initiatives. She creates opportunities for company growth and collaboration working with state, regional and national psychiatric associations. Bolger brings considerable expertise in social media and digital marketing, brand management, event management, strategic planning and copywriting. 

Bolger graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, majoring in Strategic Communication and minoring in Art History. 

 

Sumanth Kollipara

Software Development Manager

  

Sumanth Kollipara joined PRMS in 2020 as Software Development Manager. He has more than 20 years of experience working in web and software development, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Andhra University, as well as a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from West Virginia University.
