PRMS’ Psych-cess webinar series returns this year on Tuesday, April 12th, 6:30 – 7:30 pm ET on the topic of Emergency Psychiatry, featuring emergency psychiatrist Tony Thrasher, DO, DFAPA. Interested in the field of emergency psychiatry or just curious to learn more from our speaker? Join PRMS for a presentation and live question-and-answer session led by Dr. Thrasher, who will share more about the specialty, how he chose to make it his career, and how he reached his current roles, which include:
- Medical Director, Crisis Services Branch at Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division
- President, American Association for Emergency Psychiatry (AAEP)
- President Elect, Wisconsin Psychiatric Association (WPA)
- Board Member, Coalition on Psychiatric Emergencies
PRMS launched its first virtual event series with Psych-cess in 2020 as a response to COVID-19 restrictions and as a way to provide residents, fellows, and early career psychiatrists with insight, mentorship, and tips for success in their own careers. Each session in the webinar series has been led by experts in the field covering a variety of topics, from child and adolescent psychiatry to Risk Management: 101.
We also invite participants to submit their questions ahead of time or during Psych-cess to be answered live by Dr. Thrasher at the end of the virtual event! If you plan to attend Psych-cess: Emergency Psychiatry, you may submit any questions for Dr. Thrasher before April 12th by emailing marketing-prms@prms.com.
