We’re Back! PRMS Hosts Annual Reception with Southern Psychiatric Association in New Orleans
This past May, team PRMS descended upon the Big Easy to host clients, partners, and friends at our annual reception with the Southern Psychiatric Association, as well as to exhibit at several of our partner organizations’ annual meetings around New Orleans. We share more about our time in Louisiana below.
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, PRMS was thrilled to co-host our Annual Reception with the Southern Psychiatric Association (SPA) in-person on Sunday, May 22nd. Guests enjoyed live jazz music and gathered over jambalaya, po’ boys, bread pudding, and more at The Chicory in New Orleans – and we certainly let the good times roll (laissez les bons temps rouler!), welcoming more than 200 of our clients, partners, good friends, new friends, and fellow PRMS team members.
SPA’s Executive Board was able to gather and held a meeting before the reception, and Senior Psychiatrists Inc. hosted a recruitment table at the event to share flyers about member benefits with guests. We loved bringing everyone together again and are thankful to all our guests for their contributions, commitment, and service to the behavioral healthcare community.
Prior to the reception, PRMS also hosted a luncheon for district branch executive directors at the famed New Orleans restaurant, Arnaud’s, that Sunday afternoon, and supported and attended several of our partners’ annual meetings and receptions throughout the week. PRMS’ Director of Risk Management, Donna Vanderpool, JD, MBA, also participated in a panel on perinatal psychiatry at the APA Annual Meeting.
