PRMS, Supporting the Work and Goals of the American Psychiatric Foundation

Professional Risk Management Services (PRMS), manager of The Psychiatrists’ Program (the APA-endorsed Psychiatrists’ Professional Liability Insurance Program), is committed to supporting the activities and goals of the American Psychiatric Foundation. The Foundation is the philanthropic and educational arm of the American Psychiatric Association.

Last October, PRMS initiated a series of informational and customer service surveys of the mental health community. For every survey completed, PRMS made a donation to the Foundation. On March 28, 2006, Martin Tracy, PRMS President and CEO (r), presented a check for $1000 to Steven A. Rubloff, Executive Director of the Foundation (l). The donation will benefit the Foundation’s Annual Fund which supports programs that advance public understanding of mental illness.
