Have You Seen…?
PRMS staff is always on the lookout for events that alter the landscape of medical professional liability, and publishes concise updates in a central location so that program participants can see at a glance the latest developments that affect their risk.
Risk Management and Patient Safety
Our proactive, dynamic approach to risk management and patient safety is physician and patient-centered, not liability-centered and is determined by an ongoing assessment of clients' needs. We provide personalized consultation, education on patient safety and risk management topics for CME credit, a library of articles and a variety of other resources to help our clients improve patient outcomes and at the same time reduce professional liability risk.
Quality Staff
The risk management department is staffed by experienced professionals with legal and clinical backgrounds. This powerful combination provides clients with assistance from individuals who have a thorough understanding of both the clinical situation and the legal issues and implications. Our staff speaks and publishes nationally on a variety of risk management topics.
Helpline
Risk Management Consultation Services (RMCS)
The toll-free RMCS helpline allows in-person access to risk managers who provide advice tailored to a client's specific needs. The RMCS is available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST.
Continuing Medical Education Seminars
PRMS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. PRMS offers several CME seminars for physicians each year. Both in person and online seminars are available. In addition, PRMS' risk managers are regularly invited expert speakers for national, regional, and local conferences and meetings.
